Lord Mago luckily was unhurt after jumping from the runaway wagon. This came to a head with an attempt on Lord Mago's life, when the wagon he was resting veered suddenly into a ravine. As the trek extended into months, there had been a growing discontent amongst the men, feeling that they had made the wrong decision to attempt this march and leave their people to the mercy of Khal Cohollo's khalasar. Parties were sent out to forage and hunt to supplement the supplies and small flocks they had brought with them on the march. Luckily none of the larger bands or khalasars appeared to challenge them, as they were strung out in their march.īut other than these few attacks, the days had run together with little incident. Along the march they had been harassed and raided by small bands of Dothraki who came out of the grass on the swift flying horses and then disappeared. For six months, Lord Mago had crossed the Great Grass Sea using the sun and stars to navigate as there were few landmarks on the trackless plains of grasses rising taller than a man.
